I was unbelievably lucky when i found my GS. Literally the day after I sold my Maxima, I went to the dealer auction up in Milwaukee. There were only 3 or 4 GS430's out of hundreds of other Lexuses, but I found my blk/blk, navi, ML sport rim package GS430 in my mileage and price range. That was EXACTLY what I was looking for.
If it wasn't there, I would have not settled for anything else. Keep on looking!

When I decided to buy my car, I made up my mind that it would be a GS-430 in White, or Silver with a black or gray interior. Since there were and still are, none of these cars in this area, I had to find one on the Internet in Seattle or Portland. What I REALLY wanted was one in Cinnabar with a black interior. Only problem was, I had NEVER seen this combination for sale and was told that Cinnabar and Black wasn’t offered in the US. I collected ads, contacted sellers first in Seattle and one fine sunny morning made the 140 mile trip to the Emerald city. (It was raining there, of course ;>) First on my list was a new car dealership that had an 01 430 listed as “Maroon” in color. There “Maroon” was Lexus Cinnabar! Car had a black interior as well. This was the very car I wanted and I was delighted to find one. After much haggling, we got within $500.00 and I bought the car. Come to find out, it was originally from Canada.
Hang in there, don’t get in a hurry. You will find your car.
