Hard to say. I stumbled on mine within my first 3 weeks of looking but I knew I had to have it as soon as I saw it.

When the time comes you'll find your car. I must say get exactly what you want otherwise you'll regret it for the length you own that car. I knew I wanted a 430 with Navi, Mark Levision, etc. and that's what I got. I almost settled for a 300 with less wood grain, no Mark Levision, no Navi... for $3K less but I would have regretted it so just shop around.

I can say Ebay has some great deals going on right now so check them out. I got mine from Global Motorsports in Tennessee. If you see a car you like through them talk to Sam, he helped me out and tell him I said hi.

TO be honest, it took me a few months. Not easy at all, esp in the colors and options I wanted. I almost gave up... but this one came at me from nowhere. One of less then 2400 made that year.

I would say at least 2 months wait for you to find the car you want. It took me half a year. I almost settled for something less until I was recommended to wait. Boy was it worth it.

There was a GS400 with too much wood in it, so I settled for a less-wood GS300
Honestly, that GS400 got woods everywhere. What package is that?

the added wood is not OEM. They're just stickers. You can find them on ebay.

My GS430 doesn't have a lot of wood grain in it... Just enough for my taste... GS430 isn't to hard to find unless you want a certain mileage, year, color, navi, etc then of course it's selective....

I'm talkin about the wood grain packages on ebay. Hopefully they are at least equal quality to OEM (help me out here, are they guys?)

I have wood on a lot of parts but the package on ebay adds the little door that opens by the shifter, trim around the navigation/stero, trim around the instrument panel, and trim around the AC ducts.

I wanted a silver or white GS and ended up finding a white one after like 3-4 months of waiting and almost giving up as well.. One of favorite options is the stock HID's.. one thing that i really wanted was the Nav and radio buttons on the steering wheel.. But hey i can live with out it.. GL..

Patients in key...

It took me about a month to find mine. I feel I got really lucky. I was looking for an '02 or '03, white on tan, immaculately maintained fully loaded 430 w/ wood wheel, navi, ML, and less than 50K, and my max was $25K. I got 02 430 with 41K miles and searched autotrader and cars.com about every two days. Leather in perfect shape. Found mine in Washington DC and I'm in AL. 3 others people were interested.

I feel if you're as picky as me, it will take at least a few months but it's worth the wait. Almost all the ones I found were either black, silver, gold, and white, in that order. Any other colors were a hard find. After finding out that so few were made each year, I feel a little exclusive.

Sorry for the rant, but I'm still excited.... You will find what you're looking for. Take it from my success story.
