Default Impromptu shoot: 3 weeks of ownership=Bliss. (13 pictures; 4.52MB)

It has been raining for about 4 days; heavy at that. There was flooding in my area (University of Oklahoma) due to the debris (leaves and such), being carried by the rainwater, causing blockage of the drainage systems. The rain stopped last night, and the sun finally peeked through today. I took advantage of it. I gave my car a much needed wash and did a quick photoshoot afterwards.

A few cheap mods and fixes have been done since my last thread. I got a pair of OEM corner signals for a steal of a price from corkycal. Thanks again, man! I replaced the broken driver-side corner with the newly supplied corner. I did the DIY chrome grill mod. I also painted my gold emblems a dark gray metallic. The wheels/tires are pending. A guy with a RX-7 will be coming by to look at them tomorrow. 19"s are on the way soon.

Enjoy the pictures. They could have been better, but I forgot my L lense and my Canon 20D body at my apartment. I took the pictures with my Canon 300D body and 50mm f1.8 prime lense.

Thanks again man. The lights look brand new.

I was just wondering what lowering spring gives the smallest amount of drop with closest to stock ride? I have been looking at the suspension subforum, and I still cannot find the answer.

l-tuned springs would be your best bet. it will lower your car less than 1" all around. you can't get them brand new since it's been discontinued. some members may be selling theirs.

is there is reason why you want the smallest amount of drop? i understand you want a stock comfy ride. most people are happy with the l-tuned setup.

place a wtb ad and im sure you'll get some response.

good luck with your search.

Tein CS v2 is the best coil over to get if u want a near stock quality ride
and it is adjustable so u can choose the drop amount yourself

anyways

Thanks for the comments, guys. I just got some L-tuned springs.

My cousin just got some Axis Supermeshes from a maxima.org member for his GS400. I was just seeing what 19"s looked like on our cars. I was sold after we placed them next to the car.

I just bought some 19x8.5 and 19x10 old-school Racing Hart C2's from a member on here. I cannot wait for them to get here!

Here are a few pictures for fun:
