I've been having problems with my drivers side headlight. it went from occasionally turning on, to now not turning on at all. i took it to the local dealership and they quoted me close to $1000 to fix it. they said my "computer" went out.. i'm guessing it's my ballast?? question is, is there only one certain ballast i can use? is the oem one the best one to get? thanks in advance.

To go along with this thread, does anybody have detailed DIY directions on how to remove your headlights?
I would also like to know the DIY directions on how to convert your NON HID harness to an HID harness.

Flawssin, your ballast went bad just replace it with that one you linked on ebay and you will be good to go. It's kinda rediculous how much the dealer charges for such frivolous things. The wosrt part is that a ton of unsuspecting or less knowledgeable people pay that much to get stuff fixed!
