I used plumbers strap around the outside edge where the lens sits and a couple wood half rings to surround the projector, then fiberglassed between the pieces. Bondo'd it smooth and painted flat black.
The projectors I used are discontinued but I believe there are better options out there that would work. If I'm remembering right, there's about 2 1/4" vertical space inside the fog housing, I could be a little off though it's been a few years since I did it.
I'll be glassing pieces to cover up the fog bolts and edge of the mesh before spring, looks unfinished and a rough transition right now.

i like the contribution but why get the holy grail of NEW lights and then put the q45's in them? they lool good but the light output isnt half of what the LS430/460 projectors is
