My GS has 227,000 miles on it. The caster arm bushings are cracked and worn. So i'm going to change them out and maybe that will tighten up the steering and get rid of the annoying wheel shake. YES TIRES HAVE BEEN BALANCED TWICE!!! I ordered the steering rack kit just in case those need to be replaced also. I want my smooth lexus ride back...

You're not the only one waiting for the Daizen control arm bushings. I ordered new lower ball joints and outer tie rods to have all my suspension parts replaced and so far everything came in except the control arm bushings and it's killing me having to wait for those bushing while my car sits in the garage.

Was your OEM steering rack bushing kind of Jello-like?

I don't think it was that bad...but you can definitely tell the difference in material. The new bushings are harder. I still have vibration which i hope the caster arm bushing replacement cures and of course putting my 19's back on which i know are straight and true.

Make sure to get an alignment after the bushings are installed. New bushings will throw the alignment off, if your previous alignment was performed with the worn bushings. A bad alignment (especially with toe out) can chew through tires VERY quickly, so don't wait too long. BTW you keep saying castor arm bushings, I think you mean control arm?

No i'm talking about the Big fat bushings about 2.5-3.0" diameter located at the rear attach points of the lower control arm. They are cracked and i BELIEVE are one cause of my bump steer and tramlining issues...the steering rack kit definitely improved the bump steer, its pretty much eliminated now. THAT ***********IN vibration is driving me nuts!! lol

Ahh OK IC.

So I assume you already changed the control arm bushings with Daizen?
