I bought mines from superbrightleds.com. I got the wide angle one, which has 5 leds pointed in diff. directions which is perfect for the lic. plate. I think it was:WLED 5-LED Wide Angle LED bulb $ 2.99 (each). good luck
same ones i have...had M4s before I tried these, but liked the LEDs better.
Polarg M4 are halogen bulbs, just bright white.
LEDs are LEDs.

You can't get a better response than that. A pic with a side by side comparison of the two. The Polarg's do look brighter. I may switch around and try the LED's in for the front and see; then again I have Polarg M6's in the front right now so they seem fine.

Yeah that's good. But I have no spare LED's laying around. I'll grab the one I have on the passenger side clear marker and use that being it's easier to take out and remove.
Here is a pic with (1) 5LED bulb in the plate area of my Rav 4.. I have single led's in the GS since I want to keep dark & sinister at night.. M4's don't give the same effect as LED from my experience.

polarg m4's - i bought several sets of LEDs from superbrightleds.com and they kept burning out or they would flicker.
same problem. the m4s are good. bright white, not cheesy looking blue and they last. if you search the threads i created there is one about this exact same thing and i have (as well as others) pics up of the m4s at night.
