oil pan, meet jack!

The only thing I'd be worried about is where that impression is in conjunction with the oil pickup. If it is nowhere near it, you'll be fine, but I'd pull off the pan just to check. The last thing you need is a oil starved motor.

It shouldn't be to big of a deal as long as the dent is not too deep. My jack slipped one time and dented my oil pan a litte bit right in the middle. Luckily it slipped early. If it slipped when the jack was fully up then that would be REALLY bad. I dont think the crankshaft was made to support the weight of the car lol
Keep in mind, I'm running a turbo with a dented oil pan and so far no problems. I think you'll be ok

Well, still no leaks - I will try to pick-up a used pan or something and get it on there soon hopefully. I think I am fine with this dented one for a while, but it does worry me a bit...

Oil pan, gs300, upper - 3.0l - 3.0L 98-05 $270.94
Oil pan, gs300, lower - 3.0l - 3.0L 98-05 $99.19
Oil pan, gs300, baffle plate - 3.0l - 3.0L 95-05 $26.47
Folks, I am reserching oil pans. Threre is an upper and a lower part to the oil pan - based on the pictures above would you think I just need the lower part of the pan? Take a look at #31 in the attachment - it shows the upper and lower pan and the baffle (I believe) sandwiched in between them... Thanks for any input.
