My 1st ticket in the GS4...
It’s a beautiful day here in Knoxville, 82 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. My day was going great, visited the Girlfriend at work, had lunch with an old friend, had a good workout, and a substantial amount of Sunday crusin’. Then, as I took, what USED to be my favorite back road, to head home for the evening, I was tagged for a 40 in a 30. 10 over in a 30… that doesn’t even sound cool. A speeding ticket with 40mph as a ten over violation sounds pathetic.
I about laughed when the officer asked me how much it cost me to transport the car overseas from Japan (I have Toyota Aristo badges for you that don’t know), I just told him “not nearly the amount it cost to convert the car from right hand drive to left hand drive…” ha.
how many tickets have you all acquired with your 2GS?
lets see who has had gotten caught traveling the most over the speed limit

I drove my mom's 4cyl, 138hp Camry from fall 2000 till summer 2006. I racked up 13 speeding tickets in that thing
I drove the GS400 from summer 2006 till April 2007 and I got pulled over I think 3 times but luckily no tickets. I managed to get it up to 220km/h (about 138mph) once
Now I'm driving a 2006 Corvette, haven't been pulled over yet. Lets see how long it takes me to get my first ticket in this thing It seems like the faster car I have, the less trouble I get into

10 mph over the limit is jacked up... It all depends on what mood they are in... I got caught 95 on a 70... that's probably the fastest they caught me... Luckily they didn't catch me when I was doing 140... I rarely do those ne how... Now I drive very conservatively...

I got about 6 tickets in my last car (moded S2000), traded the car in for my current GS300 (because I need my drivers license for my job) and have YET to get a ticket!

The highest ever I had was 105 in a 55, I was late for a wedding in Ohio and tried making up time, with the tux in the backseat the cop believed me and felt semi-compassionate, just gave me the ticket and told me to slow it down. This was a LOOOOOOOONG time ago.
2 years ago I got tagged doing 85 in a 55 in my '04 GTO with 4 people in the car and pulling a jetski That was the most recent ticket I've gotten which is truely amazing because I'm always speeding everywhere I go.
No tickets in the GS4's....... yet.

Actually, it's funny this comes up because I have a court date tomorrow for doing 82 in a 55, I was probably going faster but I slowed down because I saw the cop and picked him up on the radar detector. About 2 1/2 weeks after that first ticket I got stopped for going 78 in a 50. The cop in the first situation (and keep in mind it was a state trooper which have a bad rep here in NJ) was the nicest cop in the world, he gave me the ticket for careless driving, less amount less points. The second time, luckily the cop is the son of somebody that works with me so he just gave me a warning.

Got napped on the turnpike doin 85 in a 55. cop lowered the points down to a 75 in a 65. He was pretty nice. Not used to that. When I was younger I lost my L three different times for a total of two years. Now I drive slow

I could possibly be the winner of this unfortunate category. I was on the way back to school in my last car, a '98 gs400. I had just sold my wheels and had the factory 17"s back on the car so it felt really fast. I was on the highway and a hooked up 745li pulled up right on my tail. I switched to the right lane and he pulled up beside me. He rode directly beside me for a minute then he gunned it. I punched it right after him and we ran side by side up to 130. We passed a highway patrol man in a camaro that was parked under a bridge and I hit the brakes. He was on my bumper in no time! Once I was pulled over he zoomed off again to get the bmw. I waited for 5 minutes before he returned again. I could of easily left the scene but Im no idiot. He wrote me a ticket anyway for 113 in a 65! Almost twice the speed limit! I guess Im lucky I didnt get a racing ticket. Never again!
