hmm, good write up but i have a question since i was able to roll my rears with a hammer slowly turned out great but i am afraid of doing the front since it has those tabs. I was wondering if it'll be good to shave the fronts. Doing what you did for the rear but for the fronts.
did you roll your fronts or did you shave them as well?

my fronts are slightly rolled. my front wheels aren't that aggressive.
Stupid question but do you re-install that trim that is held in by 4 screws? Or are you essentially cutting off those mounting points/tabs and you can no longer install the trim?

Correct, there's no longer an attachment point, and would also defeat the purpose if you could re-install the trim, since it would still rub due to it's width.
carbongs made that look easy ... i recommend wearing gloves i have a thousand metal shavings stuck in my hand .. total pain in the *** but but well worth it good write up

i did this without gloves and had no issues but i DO recommend a pair of glasses, a mouth ventilator, and some earplugs....
