Oh crap, I bought these tails on Mon. I hope I do not have the same problem. I got mine from a different seller though...

a set with resistors, and some with not, i bought without, as i really didn't care...gona take the bulb out anyways...

3-4 leds wont light up, on my left side..he wont never reply i put a paypal dispute , he said that they would change it, i never took them off cuz honsetly i wasnt even sure if i am gona get them back or not..the good part they came with resistors so no dash light came on, but then i got sonars leds for the trunk, guess what my dash light came on...great..i might just add some resistors to them and try to play with it .
did ur LED's atleast lit up when u applied the brakes? mine u couldn't even tell, SOME1 would rear end u good
they said they would test the new unit b4 shipping it out, hopefully all is well.

material used looks very cheap plastic,
When i press the brakes, nothing comes on..
Going to call the company i bought them from to see what they are going to do about it, after a delay with UPS shipping, now this???
I bought them off seller OPTIONRACING, don't recommend these at all
but all sellers carry the same item?
I would have bought the wise Tails, but i hate the large white look

i think the newer leds on ebay all have resistors i think
oh yea, i can fix mine when i tap it, gettho way to fix..but as soon i drive or goes over a bump same thing..mine inner sonar leds are brighter then these kinda looks weird..but i have to say car looks alot better with clear thin turn signals and leds even during the day, thats why i didnt wana take it off and drive around..

wat r the purposes of the resistors? i noticed that also, i don't have any in mine, but my friend got his a week after mine came in and he had resistors.. wat r they for? wat do they do? does it matter if i don't have them?

It makes the voltage higher so it will be the correct voltage of a regular halogen bulb so the dash light doesn't come on. I'd actually prefer them not to have resistors since they make it run hotter, and I pulled the dash bulb anyway. It's dumb that the Sonar tails have resistors in the outers and not the inners too. It defeats the purpose altogether.
