sorry, don't know where the lamp failutre sensor is located. but maybe a new thread will help.

And yea, I had the same "wiring" problem, I rewired it and everything works fine.

Resistors on the tails would not trigger that, so just pull the bulb on the dash...very easy..

If Toyota didn't make it, it just wasn't meant to be.

Can anyone tell me the difference between Sonar vs. Depo LED Tail Lights? I`m in the market for new tails and would like to know the pros and cons with both.

Quality on both are pretty much even. It really comes down to personal taste

I decided to cover the symbol with electric tape.

Right on the money.... Sonar was resold as junction produce led tails. The white section for the turn signal is wider than the Depo's. Depo tails were resold as "insurance group" led tails. I chose the Depo simply because of the bottom cleared portion. Looks more oem in my opinion. I have had my depo tails for 3 years now...no issues. It came with resistors to keep the dash light off. I would recommend to silicone the outer edge of any aftermarket tail light. This will eliminate fogging or leaking of the lights.

Rule of thumb... if you like it, that's all that matters...happy modding!
