ok so my check engine light comes on yesterday, im thinkin oh no. so when i get to work today i hook it to see what code its throwing.

has anyone ever had a check engine light come on because you put cheep gas in it?

it was coding that the fuel mixture was to lean, i was about out of gas so i didnt reset the light and went and put in some 93 oct. as soon as i started the car the light went out on its own. i kinda thought it was a little strange, anyone else ever had this happen?

 

On mine only the "low fuel" light up. Yours are smart. It start to decrease the fuel mixture in order to give you time to refuel... OH man!! Common Kit!

 

ok so a day later the check engine light is back on. hooked it up again today to see it coading the same as before (fuel mixture to lean). I have put higher octane gas in it and have drove several miles.

anyone out there can help on this one?
