I test drove an Avalon XLS recently before buying my 03 GS300. I really liked the roominess, comfort, and the MPG--32. It would have cost me about $8k more than my GS....Nice car though...and it's fairly quick for its size.

Absolutely not...I love my GS430.

Besides, the V8 loves me back with 19 mpg around town and 25 mpg on the highway.

No I don't let gas prices fade my love for my GS. Even though prices is killing my wallet, I have lightened up on my right foot. I drive more smoother and the results so far have been better. I don't know how many mpg I am getting right now but I have definetaly noticed an imporvement.

With the V6 and V8 being really close in MPG its hard to judge.. I love my V8 but like mentioned above if the gas prices get to high i may have other options.. Like LiLs said the GS is a one of a king sedan that was ahead of everyone else in it time back in 98.. Besides 9 times out of 10 every GS i see isn't modded.. So i guess i feel like i have a Unique Whip..LOL

I started driving my 85 Jeep more. Ironically, the serpentine belt decided to break on the freeway lol. Maybe its God's way of telling me to drive the GS. Gas prices are expensive but I will still drive my GS!

Eh, no way. GS styling is way to amazing to be traded in just for $10 extra a tank...

Its a pleasure with pain. But love to drive my car knowing I can blast anyone (almost) at my command.
Still I have my 4cyl integra on vacations but this one only give 6mpg over the GS and not ever the same power.
Here in PR the gas is at .72 cent liter. Was .49 in January. When I bought the GS I filled it with $27. Now is $35 or more.
I don't ride my car every day. Sometimes 2-3 times a week, 20 miles ride and others about one time in 2 weeks. This is the reason I will stay with GS. I thought in this before buying.

No, thinking of keeping the GS and buying a #)($() Prius though I drive 28 miles to work, 28 miles from work. Thats 60 miles, which equates to 3 gallons of gas at around 20 mpg the way I drive.

So that is what $9 since gas in GA is $3.05 a gallon a day to just get to work.

Mass transit in Atlanta is craptastic or I would use that.

Holy crap, I need to move!!! lol

LOL...you guys have no idea. Ever since I got my turbo my gas mileage has plummeted to about 10-12mpg average. I think my driving style has something to do with it too

I spend about $15-20 on gas every day and thats just around the city
