my '01 has 109k miles and it should last another 400k miles.

haha...i have you all beat so far....228,000 on a 1999 and runnin like greased lightning....GS300 The straight six is bullet proof. i have heard of 4 cylinder toyota engines going beyond 300,000. Most important thing is changing oil religously and never overheating one.

Wow I got 2001 GS300 with 40k I really need to catch up!! To me when I use to be into hondas I just worry bout the body the engine can easily be swapped. Just my 2 cents. Goodluck on the buy either one you should be happy with it. I am.

I just broke 100k on it, it's a 98, only problems I have is the Charcoal Cannister but that should be fix by the dealership

Oh and of course the Water Pump and Timing Belt need to be replace!

I have a 98 gs400 that just turned 78K. Only Problem are the rear door actuators but that's not an age thing but more of a design flaw on 98's. If you find one in the 90's for 12,500, it should be a good deal. Just do your research (have the car checked by lexus and get a carfax and check the records the owners have.) You should be able to find a gs300 for cheap with low miles.
