How many miles are on your GS?? Help!!

haha...i have you all beat so far....228,000 on a 1999 and runnin like greased lightning....GS300 The straight six is bullet proof. i have heard of 4 cylinder toyota engines going beyond 300,000. Most important thing is changing oil religously and never overheating one.

Wow I got 2001 GS300 with 40k I really need to catch up!! To me when I use to be into hondas I just worry bout the body the engine can easily be swapped. Just my 2 cents. Goodluck on the buy either one you should be happy with it. I am.

Read the sig..lol
I just broke 100k on it, it's a 98, only problems I have is the Charcoal Cannister but that should be fix by the dealership
Oh and of course the Water Pump and Timing Belt need to be replace!

Here's another thread that may help...
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...HOW+MANY+MILES
I believe there are more as well, just do an advanced search in the 2nd gs forums for "high miles" or "how many miles"

I have a 98 gs400 that just turned 78K. Only Problem are the rear door actuators but that's not an age thing but more of a design flaw on 98's. If you find one in the 90's for 12,500, it should be a good deal. Just do your research (have the car checked by lexus and get a carfax and check the records the owners have.) You should be able to find a gs300 for cheap with low miles.
