I'm planning on it Q45 + TSX retro + Inner halo's on smoked black housing & eyelids paint matched to car color. Hopefully that will grab some attention at HIN...and yes I'm gonna be there

lets meet up bro , i think i wanna redo my retrofit with a mirror finish instead of the black housing, and have the SBM eyelids or should i just paint the housing blue
I say go for it, you can pick some up on eBay for $60 shipped. Jeff I think you should get the housing painted to match the car like that other retrofit you did.
I also considered this combo myself, but didn't want to remove my eyelids and have the heads opened up again! If you haven't installed the eyelids and was considering this mod I think it will look hot! The eyelids may cover the q45 retro's a bit though? Go for it!
As wringo said it may cover them up a little but my thought was you could trim the eyelids and make them thin like on the bimmers etc... This should be interesting...

Check out some bimmers with eyelids. They look thinner than the ones for the GS.. That way the Q45 won't be covered up as much and still show the appearance of the light..

You know I've been debating whether or not to get them for some time now. I want them for 2 reasons. First, I just want them for the looks. Second, I want them because the shroud I used on my retro doesn't cover the projector completely and some light shoots out from the side. But I have to go for inspection soon and I don't want that to create problems thus me having to remove the headlight and blah blah blah, but I think Ima pull the trigger and buy a set. And hey, they're only $60 so what the heck.
Sorry, but I have to chip in here (you asked). I've never cared for eyelids on a GS (or any car, for that matter). It cheapens the car ans ruins the lines of the headlights... and it makes the car look sleepy, like Tater from the Cars movie.
More than anything, it says "I desperately want to modify my Lexus; what can I do to it for $60?" I just don't get it. I'm an old white guy, but I wouldn't have cared for this even if I was a young white guy.
I know I just offended you eyelid guys, and I apologize, but I just think eyelids belong on a Civic or a WRX.
The only eyelids Ive ever liked were the ones on DMAN63's car. Cant remember if they were JP or Carson Tuned. Also I think Quest makes a nice carbon fiber pair. I dont care for the DSR type at all.
