Default Horrible MPG

there has got to be something wrong with my car. My GS gets 275 out of a tank with 60/40 city/highway driving. I know that is susposedly goes down with 20's but damn. It's costin me $46.00 to fill up. What should I be getting? Anything I can do? Air Filter is good.

Thanks fellas

What's your tire pressure at?

I used the Lucas Fuel Injection cleaner and I went from an average of 12.7 mpg to an average of 14.0mpg

It should be around 42psi cold, but check your tire spec to make sure 42psi isn't over the limit. DO NOT inflate the tires to max pressure.

You should check your tires. It makes a good difference depending on how much air you have right now.

42 psi it too high ur gonna wear out the thread in the middle of ur tire. you should put in 35 psi that is the best tire pressure.

He's rolling on 20s. a bunch of guys are about 42 psi or so because of the super low profile. On our OEM tires however, 42 is too much.

http://www.bgfindashop.com/bgservices/fuelair.htm

full line of stuff. I just did the trans flush, cooling system flush and the brake fluid flush. 44K is an additive that you add to your gas tank that cleans the fuel system, injectors etc.... Its like $20 a can..

try going easier on the gas pedal, and drive 70mph on the fwy, should increase your mpg slightly.

I get like 150miles to a tank if I'm lucky lol
Turbo + Spirited Driving = Very bad gas mileage

Good thing I don't have to drive that far everyday.

Those chrome 20's are extremely heavy. Try driving around with the ECT snow on or just accelerate really slow from a stop.

I just filled up for $60 yesterday at Seattle. $3.65 / 92 Octane gal. Ran 16.3 Gals and 259 after I hit the fuel light for a pit. This is feather pedal too!!! Wonder what I am doing wrong.
