I finally had a chance to try the Tom's Racing STB on a GS300, I'm glad to say it had a perfect fit and clearance on it. This is a one-piece unit similar to the TRD STB but has a "flattened bar" instead of the round one, finished with the Tom's Racing "red" found on their other parts.

I may be asking a stupid question but does it have enough clearance even when the hood is closed? Can you pls check Steve? I am really interested but I don't want a STB that potentially hit against the hood.

I'm sure it will clear the hood when closed. I don't think Steve will sell something that will keep the hood open

If the hood isn't a problem, then ALL STBs with spacers can clear the engine.

i was wondering steve, is the strut bar.. how can i describe this.. look in the pic see those big things at eigther end where you bold it together? are there red covers on there? or are they build into the bar? do you see what i mean? i cant really figure out a way to describe it :-p

also its not possible to get it in grey or anythign is it?
