Default Camber kit?

So does the GS300 have a camber kit?
I just rotated my staggered tires the ONLY way possible and WOW the wear on them on the inside after only like 6 months was CRAZY!

I searched the threads and have not found anything that makes me get any closer to getting this fixed. Is it something that as a Lowered GS owner I just have to live with?

Is everyone that is dropped having the same inner tire wear issue?

The GS has some built-in adjustment on the lower control arms.
My adjusters are maxed as positive as possible and I still have -2.2 front and -2.3 degrees rear.

Nagista is the company that makes the adjustable front upper A-arm and adjustable lower rear arm. I have these coming and will review the fitment on my V8 car (they are listed only for the 6-cylinder model)

With the right alignment shop it is possible to be dropped without having excessive inner tire wear. I would almost put money down that with the excessive wear rate you are getting you may have a toe out condition. Slight camber combined with the wrong toe angle can be a significant contributor to excessive inner tire wear.

Hey SoCalSC4,

Did you ever install the Nagisa adjustable front upper A-arm on your car? Did they fit? Any feedback is appreciated!

Thanks,
DJC

Anybody try these?

Only $119 for 1.0 degree of camber correction. Seems like a good deal.

But what do I know, as I'm a newb.

Good find, there seems to be a few solutions out there for the rear, but we are looking for the front.

Cheers,

I never did. The Nagista parts are available from http://www.more-japan.com/home.php?cat=287 (Tanabe) but for $1600+ installation for the front & rear pieces I figured I'd rather use the money to replace the tires once or twice more, especially now that I don't drive the car that much.

My car has had ball joints & caster arms replaced and numerous alignments, and it still eats tires. I have found that the front wears a little faster than the rear, but it is definitely camber-related as there is no evidence of feathering on the tires.

Thanks. Seems no one has installed these front upper A-arms in the US, and there is no confirmation they will fit the 400/430's. I drive about 25k per year so I need to find something!

wow that Nagista part is expensive. looking at those ball joints, i would think the ride quality would go down a lot but maybe better handling.
