Pic request: blacked out DIY grill

thanks for the comments guy! it was like 10bucks for the spray paint but I think it was worth it .

i washed the grill first to get all the grease/dirt/grim off, gave it a few coats of primer, then gave it a few coats of black.

I thought about that too actually....but i was afraid that the black colors between the grill and body might be slightly off.
what sucks though is that the black pearl emblem now looks like a regular chrome emblem.

I think it looks great
I actually had my OEM grill painted black to match the car by the bodyshop in case I didn't like the way the Veilside grill I'm using turned out.
For daily use I think I prefer a semi-gloss finish on it, you aren't going to match the Lexus paint and I think the difference in texture for the different surface is fine.
