Definitely the Lsportlines...

You guys know I like HRE's so I don't doubt the quality of the Davins, but I'm sorry, those are just GHETTO. At least the concept is. I means it's just SO pointless...

Plus, guess who REALLY like the Davins? Ghetto-*** ***** ****as...and guess how they usually get a set of wheels for their hoopties? It's isn't with a AMEX card (unless it's not theirs of course)

Personally, I don't think the Davin rims "inherently" look good. I know they're HRE's and all, but i just don't think that model looks especially good. They match Benz cars much better IMO, but the design just isn't that great to me. There are much better looking simple 5-spoke wheels.

Plus the concept is just way too gimmicky. May look cool the first time you seem them but sooner or later its going to get played out and look ridiculous.

Imagine a whole bunch of cars stopped at a stoplight with all their rims still spinning?!?? I'd laugh my *** off at that one.

L-Sportlines all the way!

I say get the Lowenhart's----yeah the Davin wheels are that baller look, but the Lowenhart's are that CLASSY BALLER LOOK!!!! You know what I mean---and you'll probably save about $4000 getting the Lowenharts.

RacingAristo,

That picture you have there is Yokohama Bay. Most of the time I go to japan for business, I stay at the Yokohama Intercontinental Hotel. That's the Sail Shape hotel. Nice place. Too much like San Francisco though...

RA,

I could have told you that before you purchased it. Their front grill absolutely sucks. I know another guy that had one and it was pretty poor quality fit. Too bad you didn't contact me earlier - maybe I could have convinced you to go with the TRD or the one Hiro was selling. Much, Much better IMHO.

Thanks to everyone that pointed out that some L-Sportline parts are not the best quality for a GS. Now I am gonna go with the WIN kit and do a search for some new rims. I have around $6500 to spend on rims. Any suggestions??

I was actually gonna consider the Davin's but after I met up with the guy the rims and tires were not worth the price he wanted. He wanted $7k for the rims and tires but they needed 4 new tired and one rim did not seem to be spinning straight. He said that I could get that fixed but I just turned it down. For that price I could get new rims and tires. So my search is still on

I can see it now on the 11 oclock news.....Today 2 boys lost a few fingers to spinning rims called Davin's. The children's parents are sewing the owners of these rims for 2.8 million dollars.

Default Gotta Rip...

Davin wheels are just plain tacky...if you really want the baller look, buy them and then get them gold plated...oops...that's out...platinum plated. That would be so cool. Maybe you could get some diamonds placed in the rivets too!!!!!!! I would just stare at the stoplight and wish I had wasted a nice portion of a downpayment on a house on them so I could be you.

How much do they weigh? I'm guessing anyone interested in those wheels has no desire for stopping prowess.

My $2/100.

Ryan

Glad you didn't buy them!
