Default got APEXi RSM-GP (rev-speed meter) installed

You guys can check it out in my photo album

RAY's ALBUM
I have 8 pics in there. More to come.

It's very neat and looks great at night!

Did a 0-60 run, result is better than what I expected. 7 Sec. flat. I'm sure I can pull under that if I have A/C off and switch into PWR mode nexttime.

1/4 mile test soon.

Still calculating loss-power for horsepower test.

looking good dude!

does it tell you flywheel HP if you tell it your driveline loss? is that what you mean?

can it tell you rear wheel too?

i would suggest going to a dyno and checking its accuracy

I've made it so I can detach/remove it. Stay AWAY from my car

Displays: RPM (which I find much more accurate than the tach on the car), speed (too bad only in km, but still very accurate), Trip meter, battery voltage, front/rear G-force, left/right G-force.

Calculates: 0-100m, 0-200m, 0-400m (1/4 mile), 0-100km/h (0-60), 0-200km/h, 0-300km/h. Mid-acceleration (any speed - any spee calculation, for example 60mph~100mph acceleration), stopwatch, lap time record, HORSE POWER calculation (in PS)

Others: Speed Limit Cut (haven't try that out yet ), output for rev/speed signals, speed warning set, RPM warning set. Re-calibrate tire diameter.

It tells rear wheel horsepower in PS (pretty close to HP). I still need to calculate power loss (engine, transmission, and differential). I'm having lotsa trouble, my Japanese can't really understand the power-loss part. It's tricky. I'll have my grandma (who's fluent in Jap) read it for me

I will go to a dyno but not quite yet. That's with S-AFC.

Imagine your grandma reading the rev speed memter manuel and she talks about your 0-60 and your rwhp.

That's one cool grandma!

she's the one who walked me through Final Fantasy 3 and 5
Might as well introduce her to my world

It retails for 350 whole package here (RSM, G-Sensor, stand) I got a killer deal by having my relative grab me a set (they only had 2 sets left at SUPER AUTOBACS...... the place that's about 10 times the size of a regular COSTCO) and my uncle grabbed both sets (the other set is on my bro's car now.)

Installation isn't too hard. The manuals have wiring diagrams and how to set it up (if you can't read Japanese that's a BIG problem) I've called a tuning shop and they quoted me close to 200 bucks for installation. I had my stereo shop do it for much less.

Default great buy..

Good buy i have one in my supercharged Camry and it seems to do a good job killing my governor. All i got to do now is find a place to put it in my car ,im probably going to insert it somwhere in the dash.Im just waiting for my S-afc now to fine tune my gas problems , at 7000 rpm its starts getting lean and i dont think i will pass that limit with my cams.

that's cool, sounds sort of like something I saw a while back that you hook up to you car and then to your laptop and it gives you all sorts of stats and graphs things for you too like recent driving pattern, etc.

so what's this s-afc you guys keep talking about?

dude,

You have to introduce me to your grandma. Can she contact some shops for me in Japan? Just kidding. That's a wonderful grandma you have there.

Nano,

S-AFC is the piggy back ECU. For more info, just use "search" and there are quite a lot discussion back then.
