Would You Go Back To A Non-Luxury Car

Hey all, as most of you know by now I had a car accident and pretty much got word today that insurance has said it's a total loss. Within a few days after the accident, I began my hunt for another GS. I have my eyes set on another silver GS or maybe a gray one too. Last year within weeks of having my GS, I said to myself that I can't go no less than a "luxury" vehicle. Of course that depends on my financial situation. If money wasn't an issue, would any of you scale down and drive a car like a Camry or an Avalon (just examples) rather than a GS?

Yeah I would buy the ghetto Bentley aka the Chrysler 300c now that is non luxury at its finest lol just kidding Im not a big fan on so-called American luxury cars I would buy a Prius because of the mpg and the resale value makes it a wise choice in the long run

I'd stay luxury. But I don't think a lot of the GS's I see on here are luxury vehicles. Most people on here do mod's that give the GS more of a sports car feel. I like both ways but I prefer the luxury side...

Well being that i can't afford a new GS any time soon the next step would be of course another GS if i was in your shoes or possibly the new Avalon with the sport package and polished rims.. They really did a nice job on that car and reminds me of a new GS.. There both a Toyota product so its not like your down grading but all depends on your budget i guess.. Also the 03/04 Q45's are nice as well.. I've seen a silver and white one in person and there pretty sweet.. Its up to you man.. no matter what you choose its still "Luxury"...

If i'm going to a non-luxury car, then it better have something that I wans't getting before. I would go to sports cars because they have the sportiness that my GS doesn't have, and I would go to SUVs because they're roomy and don't require slow movements across speed bumps.
Going to a Camry or Avalon, I don't know. If the budget is a big concern, why not. Those are nice reliable cars. But for me, the next car has to have something better than the one I'm going away from.

I asked the same questions to myself. I just sold my Acura, and I told myself that I will never own a regular car again. I was spoiled....
Thanks to gas price, I am seriously thinking of getting Prius.... No flame please.![Smilie](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Has to be with leather and Touring edition.

I wouldn't mind rolling around in an EVO8, WRX STI, S2k, or a Supra. It just HAS to be something sporty and quick. I mean hell, my car is so far removed from the Lexus definition of "luxury" it's basically a hardcore sports sedan lol. My car has a pretty stiff suspension, is quite a bit louder than stock, and is waaay faster than stock. Stiffness and noise are usually the 2 biggest things on the opposite side of the spectrum when defining what a luxury car is
.
It's going to change soon though. I'm keeping the stiff suspension, I can't live without fast cornering ability. However, I'm about to put the stock mufflers back on and install an electric dump valve. Basically, I can roll around in stock quietness when I'm in a cruising mood or open up the valve and dump the exhaust right after the turbo downpipe when I want to scare the ricers
