Default how many 2nd gen GS enthusiasts are considering IS-F?

for many years I have been waiting for lexus to step to the plate and create a ultimate performance division to compete with amg (mercedes), ///m (bmw), and rs (audi)....and finally they have reached that goal...

I am aware that many GS enthusiasts are performace oriented enthusiasts like myself and i was just wondering if you folks were considering the IS-F as well.

post up your thoughts and opinions. if there has been a thread like this already...I apologize.

this is just a photoshop...thanks to "juniorEXE" for helping me out.

the wheels photoshopped on the IS-F are HRE 840R. i am sure you folks get the idea now just imagine a staggered setup on that ride with 275/285 on the rear!

that is the front end shot...I would say the only things that may steer away people from the IS-F is the style of the exhausts and the fender...to be honest tho...personally i love it! to each his own on that one...it is really all personal preference

I'm interested in the F, will stop by the dealership once they are available. Probably won't buy, unless I get a deal I can't refuse. May wait a couple of years and buy a used one to see if they have any issues.

It seems like Lexus created the ultimate machine and decided to go a different direction and be unique. I personally like the the whole package.. front fenders, hood, rear exhaust and of course 450-500 HP.. if i could afford one i probably would consider one. No doubt about that..

To be honest thats what i've been waiting for aswell, i was thinking about getting an sc or 2nd gen gs or 335i but i might as well keep the evo untill the IS-F is out for a little while and see how good it does in the reviews..

Cool car but it's sooo tiny. I like the big cars.

Default Is-f?

It would be sweet to own one, but I couldn't afford a new car anytime soon! I love the lines on the new Is and feel they did a better job with the Is than the Gs!

if I do get it for some odd reason, I'd have to get IS350 front fenders.

Its just way too small of a car. Was going to buy a IS350 for my mom and loved it but not the size. Now who is gonna want a GS-F? That is the real question

50k- to about 55k in price....
I think its fantastic, I don't care if it loses every comparison, it is the first Lexus under the "F" brand......

We will see what prices are in 2-3 years
