I have a 01 GS300 ...as of yesterday my fan is constantly running . my car has sat for hours ...i come out and start her up and the fan comes on right away ..Any ideas of what this could be? and will it be pricey? thanks in advance for any feedback

 

My car has never done that and I haven't heard of any gs doing that.

The ONLY cars that I can think of are the older hondas.

 

Do you have AC is on?

 

If the AC is running, the fan will always be in low speed mode regardless of anything. My car will kick in the fans on high speed right when I start the car on a hot summer day. It only happens on a hot start, but never on a cold start.

 

Nope the a/c is not running .. I made sure of that ...Can the motor for the fan burn out eventually ?
