I had Valvoline syn-power and a Valvoline oil filter in before and i was getting 20mpg with the same driving, city/hwy mixed. But it could also be that i switched gas stations from a bp with 91 octane to a bp with 93 octane.

You getting 24mpg is a great start, did you do any kind of upgrade to your car?

When I got mine from AutoZone last weekend they said my size was HP-1002
so now I know HP-2009 is bigger, better, & it fits...great!

no upgrades...bone stock actually.

my mpg's mite be taking a hit these days since I just threw on my 20's...as soon as I find some GS400 17" center caps, those will be on.

if I get above 20mpg with the heavy 20's i'd be a happy camper!

Man you've got to be kidding me, I was just at discount auto parts the other day and I asked him if I could use the 2009 model, and he's like "no you have to use the ______ one". Last time I listen to them..... I just filled up with the Valvoline SynPower Oil, and don't plan to change for another 8k pampered miles.
