Default Aftermarket amp for sub?

I did some searches and discovered that if you install an aftermarket head unit you will lose the use of your sub. What is a good inexpensive amp that could be used to power the sub without giving it too much power? And also what kind of amps do you guys use for your door speakers if any? Thanks

Just because the amp is rated at 150w doesn't mean you're always pushing the sub to that level. You can adjust the level and gain on the amp so you never push more than 30-50w out of the amp. Just get a cheap used Pioneer 200-250w amp(I bought mine used on ebay for like $50). That's what I used to run my stock sub until I got an full aftermarket speaker system.

Well it depends on how many channels the amp has. The one I bought was a dedicated single channel amp just for one subwoofer. I just wanted more bass while running the stock headunit/amp/speakers. If you have an aftermarket headunit and can no longer use the stock amp, then you can run two amps in the trunk. Use a 4 channel and a 1 channel amp to run the speakers and sub.

how easy is it to hook up the stock sub to the aftermarket amp, do you have to unhook the stock amp, or connect straight from the factory , to many wires.

75 wattsx4 channels at 4 ohm
300x1 channel at 2ohm for sub.
the sound quality is great for this amp.
it's good becuz it's 2 amps in 1.
1 power wire/1 ground/1 remote wire.. much cleaner becuz less wires running through car. so easy to hook up.
if you price a 4 channel amp and mono block sub amp... it will be way more expsenive. very practical and sound quality is awesome. it has HP crossovers for highs and LP crossovers for the sub.

Default Factory Head to aftermarket amp

Does anyone know where a wiring diagram is to show where which wires need to go on an aftermarket amp? I have the namachica (sp) amp.
