Navigation is tripping
I have a 2001 GS 300 with nav/mark lev....sound system
Why am I having trouble with the Nav staying on course? Im always having to adjust the current position and calabrate. This is a daily thing now. Would an update fix it?

Hello, are you guys driving by high rise buildings when this occurs? it could be blind spots or sun spots causing mis guided routes. if you are in these certai spots the vehicle has to rely on speed sensors and steering angle which gets you close.

You guys have tried the self-calibration for the GPS positioning right? I adjusted mine and it got better.
I think to get into the menu was to do this:
1) Turn the key to ON position.
2) With your right hand, hold both CLIMATE and AUDIO buttons down.
3) Turn the headlights from OFF to PARKING lights.
4) Repeat until the blue screen pops up.
5) Go into the menu from there and adjust accordingly.
