Default ??'s for those who put HID's in their fogs

Since one of my fogs was cracked & oxidized, I've gone and swapped out my yellow fogs for clear ones in order to run HID's in them. I'm assuming the HID's in my car are the stock 4300k and not a higher wattage like 6000k or above....but I don't know how to tell the difference

My questions are these:

1) While running HID's in your fog lamps do you get "flashed" by other drivers (uh, no...not THAT kind of flashing) or do you get hassled by the police?

2) SInce the fogs are not projectors, is the light output patterned or is it just kind of everywhere?

3) What other positive/negative experiences with running HID's in the fogs do you have?

4) Is there a way I can look at my headlight bulbs to determine the wattage? It would be nice to match my fogs & headlights together...

Thanks in advance folks!

1. I've never gotten flashed that way or the other way. The fogs are aimed at the ground so the glare isn't that bad.

2. It's just kind of everywhere. I wish it was more focused.

3. Positive, they look great. Negative, I'm afraid my ballasts will get wet.

4. Post a picture of the bulbs or type out what it says on them. We'll try to help you from there.

Wow. i already think that my yellow fogs with cool blue bulbs in them over power the HID's. An upgrade to HID fogs would be sick.

Pretty sure you get flashed because you have an HID kit in halogen reflectors.

Thanks for all the input guys. I'll try and pull one of my headlight bulbs tomorrow and take a pic of it.
