I love the look of my 2gs way better but..............I would also love having a new toy!! I wouldnt get rid of mine, but I just dont like the fact that a newer body style is out for my car.

I'm with you. I would trade for a 3G in a heartbeat.

I really liked the looks of the 3GS when it came out. Unfortunately, most of the
3GSs I see are the 300 model with the silly 17" wheels on them and they just
look sort of... dowdy... to me. I can't get excited about it- certainly not excited
enough to take on a $650+/month car payment.

My 2GS is basically paid-off now. I'm 'sunk' in it anyway, with the paint, interior,
wheels, etc. It still runs perfectly and looks fantastic... I am a car guy at heart
and love new cars but as I've gotten older my priorities have changed; I guess
I'd rather use my income to travel, go sailing, etc., than have the newest-
latest-greatest car.

The answer is no.

I too like the 2nd-Gen. I rather save the cash for the higher priced newer LS instead of the new GS.

I second that. Getting older now, so I rather spend the money going to Guam on a cruise and relax away...also goto Japan and spend more money on my 2nd gen. =)

No 3g for me. Between the small interior size and the tiny trunk access it is just to small for me. 6'2" 280# my head hits the ceiling and sholuder hits the window.

VDIM makes it difficult for me to consider a trade. No Smoky burn outs to appease the masses. Hopefully if the GS460 ever comes out, there will be a off/ on switch for it.

Just saw a lowered red 3rd gen (modded Lexus in Indiana is pretty much non-existent)...I dunno, it really made me feel something....I don't like how it looks stock but that lowered one looked really nice.

I don’t know which one is better. They pretty much same design to me except 3GS little slicker I guess… sometimes when I see 2GS its actually looks more expansive I don’t know why. I would trade my 2GS to 3GS just because its new. But I think am done with lexus, F-that lol, my next car is most likely is new mitsubishi Evolution 10 MR, BMW is ultimate driving machine? I don’t think so, EVO10 F-YES,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
