Radio Light

Go aftermarket, but only if you really care about loudness and sound clarity.
If not, the LEDs behind the display are replaceable, but I've heard that you should really make sure you know what you're doing so that you don't fry anything. If you do change it, you can even change the color that the buttons and the display light up.
Here is a DIY right here.

you can take the headunit apart. people sell replacement displays on ebay, and swapping out the display is a simple plug n play job once you have taken the headunit apart. if you're good with soldering, just take the old display out and replace the lightbulbs by de-solder and re-solder.

If you want to keep the OEM radio, you can replace the all the bulbs in the radio. Just so you know the OEM bulb is 10mm wide X 12 high, you can find a couple of site that sell the replacement bulbs, you can even go LED if you want.
I'm MODing my OEM radio for the time just so oI can get rid of the GREEENN OEM color
