Tony-Don't worry about the letters. It'll all be fine. After you polish and wax it you won't be able to see them. I love this mod. It really cleans up the rear end.

and a half-assed DIY post I made for debadging. The outlines are really pronounced in that picture b/c i took a picture that pronounced the outlines the most but it was only visible from a certain angle. The outlines are pretty gone now after 2 weeks and scrubbing and few coats of wax.

Nope, it's just a chemical to get rid of the residue. I'm sure there's a lot of "goo removal" products out there tha utilizes alcohol.

Not that this means anything, but that's the steps I took to rebadge my Supra. And in my opinion, my Supra > my GS.

So anything I'm willing to do on the Supra, I'd do it to the GS no thoughts given.

It's funny..I have a GS400 and that I de-badged recently. Now it seems that every GS I see on the road is trying to race me. HAHAH the looks on their faces when they hear the exhaust is priceless. They never expect it

i used a pin stripe removel kit by 3m bought it @ napa. it cost about $30.00 but well worth it ive also used it on 3 other cars for removing everything form badge glue to really stuck on bugs. i took all the badges off my lex and buffed and waxed in about 20 min with this kit. if this mod is somthing you are wanting to do, i would look in to it!!!!!!!
i ment to add that there is no badge outline when you use this kit!!!!

Not to diminish SADDLE's job (thank you ) but I'd suggest using the search before downing the dozens of others who have also taken the time to write this process up Just a few examples - there are many more:

Search for "Debadge" in title

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...hlight=debadge

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...hlight=debadge

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...hlight=debadge

Search for "remove badge":

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...t=remove+badge

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...t=remove+badge

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...e+badge&page=2

And just for kicks searched for "dental floss"
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...t=dental+floss

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...t=dental+floss (lots of links in here)

etc etc etc
