i think its sweet that you're going to be tooling around in a GS with a surfboard on the top and bringing it to the beach and stuff. hahaa. post up a pic with the board on the roof when you make this happen, i believe it will be a first.
athere is no way i would put a surfboard rack on my car.. i can only imagine how dirty it would get and the straps would wear down the moldings on the dorrs faster. I surf every so often and just use my mom's car for that.. shes got a mb c320 but its a piece of cr*p so i dont care.. I hate getting sand in the car as well as water on the roof of the car when it is unnecessary..
gottagetmines has a thule bike rack. closest thing i could find.
