Default My GS400

So i've been lurking the forums with little to say for the past year. When I first joined CL I couldn't go an hour without logging in to read new postings. It was so bad that my girlfriend didn't like CL as much as she did my ex. I was amazed at what people were doing to their cars. Even more so with the GS since I own one. I never wanted to show my car only because living in the city only provides one with mysterious dings and dents of all sorts. Didn't feel it was up to par with other members. My tail was tucked tightly between my legs. When I first bought my GS in 03 it looked like this:

I went to see this car I was under the impression it was silver. When I was on my way I was told it was more a tan/goldish color. I thought "darn I really wanted a silver". It looked silver but DUH it was a black and white newspaper! I figured I'd kick the tires a bit and push the pedal a bit to see if I really liked the feel. Well needless to say I saw it and thought "wow what a nice color". After the test drive my contract-signing pen was slowly making its way out. Went home and slapped the wheels on. Oh and yes I talked them down to 6k off asking price. Then a year after I sold my wheels and got a staggered set which made my car look like this. Notice the hood sticking up a little? Yeah, that all happened one day leaving a closing I had in downtown, turns out some truck reversed into my hood leaving me a little surprise:

Well its June 2007 and have strayed away from chrome wheels to find my heart with brushed aluminum. Bought these &Swiss wheels in the classifieds by mprd702. Just threw them on yesterday and boy do I love them. I know what most of you are saying, I need a drop and do I need one badly. That is my next purchase so ill post pics when i get it done. Now I just need a roof spoiler, a new bumper because some drunk couldnt leave his parking spot the nice way, my new front bumper painted, retro my lights, finish installing the new skin for my seats and that should take care of most of my wants. No kit for me, Chicago roads arent too nice for them unfortunately. All comments (nice ones that is) are appreciated. Ok ok bad ones are too:

He (like the other Chicagoan's) probably bet that a year 'the Cubs are taking it all'.
