Painting HID housings

Hi,

Has anyone painted their headlight housings on OEM HID headlights? How hard is it? I've heard the HID headlight is much more difficult than regular headlights.

All you are doing is painting the chrome trim its the reflector bowls that are different not the trim

I should have stated my question clearer. I'm referring to the difficulty in disassembly of the HID headlight vs. non HID

Same process as a halogen headlight. I've taken apart both before.

Same process no difference. Both headlight housings are almost identical. The only difference is that they have differently shaped low beam bowls. Everything else like the covers, backing, shrouds, etc are all exactly the same.
