Default Tilt motor re-greese proceedure-HELP!!

I have a tilt motor that I would like to clean and re-grease. I have read the post by "t42gs3", but do not know how to get to the part in question. Can anyone help w/ some pics or detailed explanation on removing the steering colum, ignition key cover, and the 2 pieces below the colum?? I feel a little apprehensive to start taking things apart.

Thanks for any and all help!!

If you drop the lower instrument panel cover, (the cover under the steering column that extends back to the firewall) you will see 2 motor attached to the driver side of the steering column. They will be right next to each other poiting to the driver side fender. the one closest to the seat is the tilt motor. the other one is the telescoping motor.

Thanks for the advise and concern. #1 when you have a5 yr old nothing is freakin easy. I have not had a chance to fix...so sorry.
#2. I read on other threads they used lithium greese and worked okay. that is what I will try. Unless you think ther emay be a prob down the road. It is a real pain to go to the ONLY Lexus dealership in the Springs.
#3. I will post when I get fiished working on it. If I can do it anyone can!!.
I hate it when folks take the time and help members and the member does not even have the courtesy to post a response when the job is done.

I will say that the kind, knowlegeable members haave saved me about 1500$$ w/ thier insight and advise!!!!

thanks again.

I am STUCK!!!hahaha
I dropped the one panel, and looks like I will need to drop another panel to access the tilt motor for the clean up. My problem is that there are 2 screws(possibly more) that is holding the panel directly below the steering column that I can not access. These srews are right next to each other on the right hand side of the column. Any suggestions on thier removal so i can drop that panel?
