I removed the LEXUS and GS400 badges off mine last week. Waxed dental floss and a hair dryer took care of the initial removal. For cleanup I used Goo Gone to soften up the remaining material, and used Meguiars Cleaner/Wax as a finish. It took several iterations of Goo Gone and Meguiars to eliminate the shadow. I took my time so as not to damage the finish.

I don't know if it was mentioned but I used 3M General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner. Also worked good on the adhesive that was left from when I removed my tints.
