Uhhhh, do you have the wooden trim wheel or the all leather? If so, they both have the ability to retain heat. So you're probably just feeling your own body heat.

Dtid you check your air vent under the steering column ? Maybe it is aimed at your legs try movung it downward

Ohhh. You meant the steering column, not the actual steering wheel. Let's see. It could be a number of things. Maybe the telescoping/power tilting wheel mechanism went bad and is overheating for some unknown, awkward reason. Then again, it could be heat leaking into the cabin from the exhaust system. Just make sure it's not a glowing, red hot exhaust manifold. That is a bad thing. Maybe it's because your air conditioning system? The air vent might be pointing at your leg. It could also be the ignition switch too. Maybe the transmission is overheating?! Bad bad. I'm not trying to scare you into thinking that your car is jacked up, but maybe it really is? Just take your time and make sure that it's nothing too serious.

My Dad had the problem with his GS two years ago. It was the air vents.

I drove his GS, and it's the reason I wanted to get one. His is a 430.
