The back panel has some metal clips that keep it situated into the actual body of the seat if I am not mistaken. I know it may seem like you will damage something, but you should just keep prying on the panel. Try to put the pressure towards the middle of the panel so that it bows at the top and bottom and the clips slip off the frame. I have seen it done before and have not actually done it myself. If someone backs me up then I would just keep on pryin.

Here it is.....
To remove that pocket, there is two philipps head screws on the bottom, one on each side. Look underneath you'll see it. Take those two screws out and then it drops down to where you can just pull it off. No need to pull once the screws are out. I just replaced my leathers and thought the same thing. Needless to say I thought I broke one of the clips, but was lucky enough that is was salvagable. Let us know how it turns out....

I pry very hard and I was able to see the clip. I pry harder and the clip pop off the seat back. I was able to see the other clip and how its position. the bottom have two big hook, the mid sides have two smaller hooks and the top have a clip hook combination. I install the two monitors and put back the seat back.
I didn't know what was holding the seat back in place or if it was meant to be removed. I posted on the es300 site with no reply, so I came here to get an idea. thanks.
