Steering Wheel feels heavy compared to other lexus
Hi all
As far as i can remember the steering on the GS has been very i guess "stiff"
Compared to my moms old Lexus ES300 and her new RX300 myGS400 just seems so heavy to steer! The ES and RX are very smooth and light but still very responsive. Any ideas?

This is correct. Its due to the purpose of the vehicles. The ES and RX are relaxed luxury vehicles, thus the light steering.
The GS a sports luxury sedan, thus the steering is heavier to attempt to keep the driver more "involved".
If you want super light steering, drive a last generation Lincoln Town Car! You can whip the steering wheel around with your pinky.
On the other end, try the steering wheel of a Lotus. You need both hands!

The GS is a "sport" sedan, although a lot of us here will argue otherwise lol...at least in factory configuration. The steering is gonna be tighter compared to those other cars because that's just how a sportier cars steering is set up. You want it to be tighter and stiffer so you have better control under high speeds. You don't want to have loose steering when you're cruising over 100mph+. There are even a few guys here that think the GS steering is a little too loose. If you've ever driven a BMW then you will know what I'm talking about.
