is it only gs400's with the problem?

i noticed everyone i have read post about with the issue had a 400 instead of a 300.

ive had my gs4 for about a year this problem has not happen, is there anything that can be done to make sure this problem does not occur???

This happened to my friend who owned a GS300 ... luckily I found this thread.
