Default Head light question.

My head lights are realy dirty and cant find anything to clean them. does any one know of anything that will clean the head lights. I know there was a thread on it but i cant find it so if anyone can help thank you

You can try PlastX by Meguiar's first. That's what I did and that was enough to do the trick since it wasn't hazy. Just apply with an applicator pad and work it in little sections at a time. Wipe off with microfiber towel and apply some wax for a new layer and make it shiny again. People have other preferred brands and methods. If it's really bad, they'll tell you that you'll need to wetsand. Probably with a 1500 grit then moving on to 2000 grit. If you search the Automtive Care forum, there are some nice detailed write-ups.

i had the guys at work buff mine out the other day with some compound then wax them, made a world of difference they look new again. if you have access to a high speed buffer you might want to give that a try
