Default UPDATE--> Los Angeles Alignment Shop

Previous Thread... https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...threadid=29109

Now the UPDATE:
Ok here is the scoop! I guess it pays to watch those people work...I watched the first guy do mine alignment and I had this feeling he botched it up...and when I saw the print out I knew he had....but I kindly said thanks and couldn't wait to get another alignment by somebody else. It ended up that the first alignment was pretty off, although it drove fairly straight it wasn't aligned right.

The place I went to next to fix the previous screwed up alignment was Spence Alignment & Brakes in Glendale, CA. I found them while searching for the Hunter balancer machine through their website. Well the name really helped in narrowing down who does alignments. So, they have a GSP9700 balancer and a DSP611 alignment system. For those who never seen the DSP611 it has cordless sensors that look like a dish...very cool....unlike the older models which was hooked up using wires.

Interesting thing I found out is that the DSP611 and GSP9700 comes together as a package...well not confirmed but that is how they got both machines....meaning they were interested in purchasing the DSP611 but Hunter packaged it with the GSP9700.

The bottom line is that this guy...Nick knew what he was doing. I highly recommend them.

Well they don't break down the prices, but it costed me $75.00 for a 4 wheel alignment. Oh and it is $10.00 per wheel if you want the balance done on the GSP9700.

Spence Wheel Alignment
1133 S Central Ave
Glendale, CA 91204
(818) 244-7228

Well, give them a call, you'll need to make an appointment...but if you call early you might get in the same day....alignment took only an hour...and the machine is right next to their waiting room...so no problems in hanging out to chat and watch him while he is doing the alignment.

I know they had specs for the GS on the DSP611 but don't know about the IS.

Bob I think is the owner and the Tech/Mechanic is Nick. Talk to Nick he is pretty cool.

If you want tell him Eric with the silver GS300 referred you. I was just there yesterday morning.

Why not just have the dealer do it? Mine charges about $75 also.

Hey Eppan thanks for the info. Good alignment places are hard to find. In regards to the dealer, my dealer wants $150 for a 4 wheel alignment. Not! I don't think so.

No problem just glad to pass on some info. Also, if you do go there...let me know how it went.

BTW my dealer want $100.00 for an alignment and I don't know the reputation...also everything is done outside of your view....so hard to know what is going on till its all over.

This was my second alignment within a few days of each other. I already paid a grip for the first alignment and figure on not taking any chances on the second to correct the first. Plus, after reading all the other posts concerning alignments I felt it would be better to find someone that does only alignments day in and day out. Either ways it worked out and I am very happy with the second alignment.

>>>For those that do have it done at the dealer....Do they give you a printout of the alignment before and after specs. Just curious.
