Default Wheel Repair

Has anyone used this shop in PA to repair/refinish a wheel? http://www.audiworld.com/news/01/wheelrepair/

I assume you are willing to ship the wheel considering that place is located in PA?

I'd also check out http://www.wheelcollision.com/ if you want more choices. I've heard some good things about Wheel Collision from friends, but when I tried to send them a wheel they couldn't repair it (I busted the lip so bad it was deem unrepairable). I took a hard turn around a ramp and the Supra hit the curb.

Thats the place mentioned in the audiworld article. I was just wondering if there was anyone with experience with them. I've also heard they are very good at what they do. Yeah, I've got a high mileage set of wheels that need some refinish work and I don't want to shell out the $$ for new ones.

Oh hehe. I didn't read through the whole article. It does seem like wheel collision is what they are talking about. In that case, yes that place is prob one of the better ones in the States.

I've seen Supra guys around the country (mostly NE guys) ship it to them to get fixed. Send them an email with pictures of the damage and he'll give you a quote if the wheel is repairable.

But from experience, if the wheels ain't worth much, just buy a whole new set.
