from my previous post: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=289657
about a noise coming from behind the dash....

well i finally got around to taking it out. Wasnt easy but it had to be done. I took some pics if anyone wanted to know what you have to remove.

yes it all has to come out in order to reach each screw.

http://serv2.imagehigh.com/imgss/6103149_100_0892s.jpg
What can i use to clean the drivers door near the speaker?

http://serv2.imagehigh.com/imgss/6103155_100_0894s.jpg
So I have the part but need a part number....or a place I can get the part before I make that call to the dealer. I think I can see another one on the drivers side but its seems to be working fine.

Oh, its a 2001.....and I am the second owner.

I have a few different part numbers from my parts list. I will do my best.

22 servo damper 87106-30351 Looks like it is close to the drivers side. 148.92

23 servo mode 1998 to 11-97 87106-30370 066.29
from 11-97 through 1999-2005 87106-30371 151.19 higher of the two on the passenger side.

24 Servo temp 87106-30341 148.92 lower one on the passenger side.

The servo's above are all connected to the evaporator heater core assembly
Book only calls for .5 hours... are you sure you need to move all that to get to it?

There is another servo on the blower assembly

next post see below

I hope this helps. I tried to cut and paste this out but man it got really blurry bad. sorry.

If you can take a picture with your finger pointing to the area maybe I can help more.

33 servo blower 87106-30390 153.46 This servo is on the drivers side of the fan assembly box. That is right next to the cabin air filter.

i need to do this fix, but i really don't want to take out everything. the one that is broken for my car is on the passenger side and it's a lot easier compared to the driver's side.

you'll need to host it on something like photobucket.

the servo was out when i took the pics

if you look carefully at the second pic near the connectors you see a brass screw and a black connector. thats where it was mounted. you can see the arm it moves in that same area.

in order to get to all the screws that are for the white vents that blow on your feet, you need to get the carpet out the way. the carpet is so stiff that it would be hard to remove and replace if you dont remove the center console.

Our GX had this problem and after I looked at the diagram, decided to let the dealer fix it. It took three tries to get it right, so the $500 fee was more than worth it.

Quick Reply: so i took the part out...now i need a part# *pics*
