Default Never before seen lexus gs help

I need some advice I've been in the lexus game for a while now i had a gs300 and a gs400,the 300 was a 99 and the 400 was a 2000 both sold now and both great cars but i want to get into somthing newer i want either a 2001 and up 430 or a 2002 to 2003 gs300 sport design.I was searching for some GS's the other day and i came across some crazy combinations of colors for the sport design with orange and bronze interiors, should i go with the power of the 430 or the uniqueness of the 300,and also these are stock cars no customization.P.S knowledge of comparison is appreciated .Thankyou

more pics coming

First off Welcome to CL.. Its all about personal choice.. DO you want a 430 with 300 HP or a 300 with 225HP with the potential to Boost.. A lot of guys ae getting the GS300 and boosting the engine or doing a swap. Not sure if your post meant keeping the car stock but if that's the case i would go with a 430 and get a custom interior done GL

I personally don't care for that color, but if that's something you're into then cool. Reminds me of Mustang interiors. Anyway, i'd go with the 430 just for the boost in horsepower from the GS3. The car is heavy and with 225fwhp it's a major task hauling that carcass around. Of course if you s/c, turbo or spray, then it's a whole different other story. BUT, you need to look into the cost of adding a power-addder to these vehicles which is NOT cheap. I installed a s/c in my Cobra for a price of $1200.00 (used re-conditioned S-trim). I was putting down about 230ish to the ground stock. When i added the blower, i was above 400rwhp (added other items to the motor to get there). If you do that with a GS3, do NOT count on it being less than a few grand just by looking at others posting on here. Especially GS4's which have had used blowers sold on here for 4k or more. And that's for about 100rwhp more than stock. IMO, that's not enough return on investment to add a power adder to a GS3 or GS4. These cars run amazing just stock; smooth, quiet and handle great for a heavy car.

Here's a few examples of classifieds selling used turbo kits:

Still wanna boost?

I like the SD grey, but it's not worth the trade off of the V8 torque, power and smoothness.

You can always get a custom interior for much cheaper than a turbo/supercharger upgrade... I would have to go with the 430
