I had this happen when I installed my aftermarket spoiler I had to adjust the tension on the supports in the trunk. There was a DIY that showed exactly what to do, very simple. I think if you search for trunk adjustment or trunk shocks it shows what to do

I just recently swapped trunks with a buddy that didn't have a wing and b4 my trunk would just sit there when i pop the trunk bc the wing was so heavy. W/o the Wing, the trunk flies open. I pulled back the inner lining of the trunk on each side and set the trunk on the lowest setting (top most slot) on both sides and now it's perfect.

Adjust the tensioner inside the trunk on the left and right hand side. Theres 3 slots to adjust them. You can also drill your own hole to make it even tighter.
