You guys' cars look hella fresh.....How well does the paint stick to the original chrome? Did you have to prep the chrome like sand or score before you painted? They look really nice!!!

I used like 400 grit sandpaper then primer then paint. Its like a dark grey / graphite color.

I love the black on black. It makes the bowls stand out.

300F for 15min. Ive probably baked close to 100 healights and never had a problem. I let it heat to 300 first, then bake.

thanks... what brand sealant do you use when you close it up? ive seen alot of other headlights that are all foggy because it wasn't sealed properly... any advice to avoid that?

you know, there is this wonderful thing called "search" built within Clublexus that lets you search all the pictures and logs of accumulated wealth of knowledge by entering keywords that are more than three letters so you don't have to randomly ask and/or wait for a response .

I reuse the stock sealant. They have some butyl (sp?) rubber sealant that nissan sells that I hear is good. You can check out the forums on HIDPlanet.com for more info

And please don't turn this into a "how do i paint the housing" thread. You can search and find information about that.
