Angry Spilled coffee :(

I left the house this morning using a new coffee cup without a closing top thinkin "..hmmm maybe u should just drink it now and not risk the spill in the car....... NAH"

I hop in.. set the cup on the passenger side floor.. turn on some tunes... and completely forget about the cup...

7 miles and 12oz later.. I look down and see it all over the floormat & under the seat.

When I got here @ work I went to the bathroom and grabbed a gang of wet paper towels and a few dry ones and tried to get it up. There was so much liquid that it just soaked right through all the towels..

I figure I'll forget about it until lunch and then try to get it out..

any suggestions on what to use? or where to go?

you'll need some sort of stain lifter since by lunch time it'll have dried up. now it will also soak into the insulated padding that is under there as well. you'll also wanna grab some deodorizer since it will smell like coffee for a few days

dood first of all..... why did u put it on the floor? dont worry, ive spilled an entire 7-11 big gulp in my car before. just make sure you get all of it off under the seats... it gets pretty sticky under there with all of those gizmos and gadgets... Now i drive with my left hand and hold down my beverage of choice in the cup holder with my right hand. Just to be extra safe.

If there's a 7-11 (or other convenience store) nearby get a box of baking soda and sprinkle it over the stain. It will absorb some of the moisture as well as the smell. You can vacuum the baking soda up later but you don't want that coffee to really dry up in there. Coffee makes a HELLUVA stain bruh...

I don't eat or drink in my car but when I did (in another car) I made sure to keep a bottle of Resolve or Folex in the trunk for just such an emergency. Good luck mang

Use OXY magic. I had HELLA coffee spills in my RL. I was about to chuck the floormats bc of the stains and was ready to drop some bread for a new set when I saw we had OXY magic in the cleaning closet. I sprayed the mats until the bottle was empty and scrubbed it a little. Rinsed with a hose about 20 mins later and let dry overnight. the mats looked BRAND STINKIN NEW!!! ALl the coffee stains came out as well as some gum that was sitting there for years. I would try that. If it soaked into your carpet try the oxy magic and a wetvac. Hope you get it out!
