Should be getting the bumper and grill back from paint either today or tomorrow. Here's a picture of me doing some final sanding on it

I work at a stereo shop lol. We did what we could with what we had. The bumper was in pretty rough condition when we got it and we ended up modifying it a bit as well. There were a lot of high spots on the bumper which is why you see all that white scattered. We also molded the chrome trim line off too. The paint shop took care of the rest once we got it to where we liked it. I am by no means a body guy but I try to get my hands dirty in every project that happens on the car. I had a lot of help from people who have been doing it awhile. It's all a learning experience for me though. When I get around to posting all the pictures you'll see why.

trade secrets lol. just some good old fashioned mcgyver stuff. let's just say it has to do with a tiny screw, electrical tape, and some washers

Engine Bay Upgrades:

Ordered some goodies from our buddies over at Summit.

SRT intake getting some love

Yup some exhaust wrap for my intake lol. I thought it would look cooler than just respraying it. I will most likely be doing the headers as well down the road.

MAF sensor back on

Repainted the heat shield

Artsy fartsy

New TRD radiator cap

Got a Rod Millen strut bar to replace the TC Sportline one that I had previously

It was a little rough so I took some billet polish to it

Starting to look better already

Bling bling!

On the car

Polished the intake manifold while I was at it

Slide cover off

Measuring and spraying on adhesive

Wrapping after letting the adhesive tack up

Me sound damping the roof with Stinger Extreme Road Kill

Sueded moon roof sliding cover and railing is back together

Reinstalled back on the roof over the sound damping material

I prepped everything and sprayed them all black

I also tinted the lenses a little to make them transparent but also a little darker. I have white LED’s so I am not too concerned with light output. Goal is to have a dark interior haha

Put the lenses back together

All blacked out

Can you see where this one is going?

Yeah gonna wrap the handles in carbon fiber vinyl to match the door inserts that I did previously. If all goes according to plan I will have more of this material integrated in the car in the future as well as the suede.

Finished sewing on the carbon vinyl for the handles

With the painted covers on the end

Was kinda partial to the clean look without handles but this adds a nice custom touch
